The world did not end in an instant. It ended slowly-quietly-like something dying while still pretending to live. Serein Valdez learned to survive in that silence. Not because she was strong, but because she paid attention to things other people ignored. She learned how to move through ruined cities, how to avoid danger before it showed itself, and how to stay invisible long enough to live another day. She never planned to get involved with anyone. Especially not him. Leviandro Solenne is the kind of man who survives without asking permission from the world. Former military. Controlled. Detached. A man who moves like every decision has already been made long before it happens. When Serein finds him surrounded in the ruins-outnumbered, cornered, seconds away from death-she knows she should walk away. She doesn't. That single moment binds them in a world that punishes mistakes and calls attachment a weakness. He doesn't trust her. She shouldn't have saved him. But in a place where survival is no longer about strength alone, but about choice, instinct, and consequence- leaving each other becomes harder than surviving the world itself. And when the quiet finally ends, what's left behind is not just destruction. But the things they were never supposed to feel.

Yeji always thought the world would end in fire, or maybe in a flood. But when it came, the end was quiet-broken only by the groans of the dead. They rose in many forms: the stiffs, the lurkers, and the relentless swarmers that consumed entire streets. Humanity didn't fall in a single night. Piece by piece, it unraveled. And survival became more than just outrunning the dead. It became about trust. About hope. About love. And above all...about the ones who remain.

Benji is awkward, gay, and barely survived high school. Now he has to survive the apocalypse. After a cosmic event blankets the world in black dust, unleashing a deadly plague and collapsing society, seventeen-year-old Benji sets off alone to find other people. He's prepared for illness, for lawlessness, for solitude. What he isn't prepared for is Cabe, the broody, straight classmate who just saved him from a would-be mugger. Cabe has one goal: protect his baby sister and find their missing mom. Benji? He has a crush on Cabe the size of the roiling space dust cloud that looms over their town. But Cabe is moody and focused on survival, and Benji talks too much and keeps catching feelings. As the unlikely trio treks through their decimated city, scavenging supplies and dodging threats, Benji and Cabe find moments of warmth, laughter, and something dangerously close to love. But when grief, mistrust, and dangerous survivors threaten their fragile connection, Benji must decide if love is worth the heartbreak...even at the end of the world. Still Awkward at the End of the World is a 74k word standalone YA post-apocalyptic queer romance that blends the raw survivalism of The Last of Us with the tender heart of Red, White & Royal Blue and the emotional tension of They Both Die at the End. It's awkward. It's gay. And somehow, it's still hopeful. ***2 new chapters every day until completion of book in late June.***

"Kidneys or your life?!" In the desperate moment of being disemboweled, Li Li was unexpectedly caught in a spacetime rift, smashing through the ceiling of the post-apocalyptic shelter and falling precisely into a giant bathtub full of blood and overflowing with hormones! In this nuclear wasteland where a drop of water is more precious than life, Li Li, without superpowers or a system, only wants to survive. But why are these five top-tier soldiers in the bathtub, who just crawled out of a pile of corpses, looking at her as if she were their meal? The cold-blooded captain pressed a gun against her waist: "Run? I'll break your legs." The yandere vice-captain, his hands covered in blood, gently placed a bomb collar on her neck: "Good girl, be a guide, or be a dead person." A sly sniper kept his eyes glued to her ankles, a freakish machine gunner forcibly used her as a pillow, and a genius hacker simply welded the escape door shut... There's no way to escape, absolutely no way to escape! Five top-tier, insane big shots are locked in a desperate struggle for survival in the wasteland, which has turned into a deadly battleground where they are forced to become the group's darlings! Never thought I'd join Blue Spirits, but you know what they say, when stars align, they shit on you. When I was a kid, life was all about my sister. Everyone I'd ever known growing up had some poik spots somewhere. It was normal. Then these freak kids were born who never got em. Clean, and my sister was one of them. Those kids started to disappear. It had to be the Supremacy, and since they had been coming around more often, I felt like I had to guard my sister with my life. No one ever really questioned Supra around here. They just kind of let them do whatever. But there was one kid who wanted to make a difference, and everyone knew him by his nickname like a Super Hero. Rebellion. The Kid Crusader wanted to be behind it all, and for whatever reason, he wanted me to join him. Blue Spirits? Well that comes later. Just let me tell my story, for cryin' out loud. This is my story. It's kind of slow, but it's still mine nonetheless. Buckle up, kids. -Alex This book takes place within the Inherited universe *See also Locus: The Age of Spring, for another book/series in the same universe that has mention of this character. It is not necessary to read it to enjoy this book. Content Warning: This book will include violent scenes, death, and deteriorating mental psychosis.

Yesterday, the forecast promised 42°C. Today, snow was falling outside my library window. By tomorrow, millions would be dead. And I was still wondering how I was going to get home. A nineteen-year-old college student expected her second year to begin like any other semester. Every day, she spends four hours commuting-two hours to school and two hours back home-taking eight different rides just to attend classes. It's exhausting, but it's her normal life. On the first day of the new semester, after finishing the lunch she brought from home, she heads to the library to wait for her next class. While scrolling through Facebook, she notices strange reports from around the world: sudden snowstorms, impossible temperature drops, and cities freezing overnight. At first, she dismisses them as internet rumors. Then the library becomes colder. The air-conditioning is turned off, yet the temperature continues to fall. The summer heat vanishes. Students begin shivering. Outside the windows, the sky darkens. And then snow starts falling. In the middle of a tropical summer. As governments struggle to explain the phenomenon, temperatures across the globe continue plummeting at impossible speeds. Transportation collapses, power grids fail, food shortages begin, and panic spreads faster than the cold itself. Far from home and surrounded by thousands of frightened students, she must survive a world rapidly freezing to death while trying to make the dangerous journey back to her family. What begins as an ordinary first day of college becomes humanity's fight for survival against an endless winter. The world was supposed to reach 42°C that day.

All their lives, the tainted threat loomed. While Rossi and her village faced attacks--a single tainted's destruction, before they could burn them--Bianca lived among the tainted and every day faced the Shadow in her own body. They feel compelled to risk the unthinkable, go Downtown to find the crack between universes. Their journey won't actually take them far from home, but that's the problem. Everyone close to their hearts is threatened. This is a story of challenges: the challenge of survival in a post-apocalyptic world. But also, the challenge of working with people under stress, often through pain, some you don't like, some close friends you take for granted, some new friends with a totally different worldview. There are multiple seasons before the primary goal is resolved. Regularly scheduled programming every 2nd and 4th Wed. Wherever you see Rossi's journal is a "bookmark" to help you when you need to step away, giving you an eye-catching way to pick up where you left off. Every episode is a 20-30 min read (4000-6000 words), but bookmarks / scene breaks are around 1400 words. All seasons are written, but I'm still editing! Stick with me, and you will see the completed story. For fans of post-apocalyptic hopepunk! If you enjoyed Station Eleven or Sweet Tooth, then I hope you'll enjoy this character-driven saga of found family and long lost friends enduring wasteland survival with Practical Magic style witchcraft. This is just a fun project I just wanna work on while I'm blank on ideas for my other stories. This'll be short, maybe 10 chapters, probably less. This is gonna be heavily based off of the Fallout games, most notably Fallout 2, and a tiny little bit of Dune. This won't be a Reader story, the main character has a name. Oh, and I'll be crossposting this to AO3 if this does well, because I'm GREEDY and I LOVE BEING AN EVIL PERSON HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. More info in the opening chapter.

NAME IS PRONOUNCED ZĂH-KĒR NOT (Zah-qweer) Has nothing to do with sexuality. Sci-fi | dark biopunk | post-apocalyptic | time-slip | progression fantasy The world had already ended. It should have died permanently. All life should have continued to deteriorate until extinction, an irreversible sequence. But even the universe itself seemed to refuse. Earth bore a hidden gift discovered by the remnants of humanity. A miracle capable of restoring what was lost. A classified element believed to be purposed for rebirth and evolution, though evolution was an understatement. AA4. Rumored to be the "all existing god clay." Massive domes conceal hypercities housing the world's remaining population from the warped landscape beyond. Mutated monstrosities, vampiric flora, and supernatural phenomena now roam an Earth that no longer resembles its former self. The present has become an anchor on a fragile plane. A gravitational sinkhole in the timeline, pulling in relics, prehistoric apex predators, and even people from different points in the past. Zaqueer is a seventeen-year-old boy who isn't some hero. He isn't adventurous or daring. All he wants is to spend time with his friends and father, play games, and read books about the old world within the comfort of his dome city. He was just supposed to be the kid with the weird name. But after his dome is destroyed, Zaqueer is thrown into the dangers of the outside world. Before the attack, his father leaves him with a strange warning: "Don't Wake..." Following the hypertrain rails toward the next dome, Zaqueer encounters a cast of time-displaced individuals searching for a way back home. The anomalies they face are things that should not exist. But death keeps fleeing from him, leaving only the sting of molten glass in his veins. Zaqueer begins to realize he isn't who he thinks he is. Nor what. The path laid before him may not be his own. Zaqueer is past tense. And whatever he's becoming... The world knows.
