After everything that has happened Malcolm really starts to see certain things from a new angle and ponders about it...

Carry on (15x20) was Chuck's ending - sad, cruel and meaningless - the one he wrote on Becky's laptop. (Vamp-mimes, really?) After Jack brought everybody back, Becky and her family were living their lives normally until she found what Chuck had written. Therefore, Becky called the Winchesters to warn them (about the vamp-mimes, the rusty rebar and Sam's one-dollar-wig), and now they need to find out why they're living Chuck's ending if they've already defeated him... *This is my version of how the ending should be: the boys are fighting a big bad powerful villain; Cas is back; Crowley is back too (because he's awesome); all their found family is supporting the Winchesters; Sam and Eileen are together; and Dean and Cas will deal with Cas's confession (with some fluff, some bickering, some angst and a lot of denial, obviously).* *Yeah, there will be Destiel (and yes I do ship it) at some point, but I've tried my best to be faithful to how I imagine the characters would deal with their feelings and their relationship, and I hope it won't be too disappointing to anyone. And there won't be any smut (I do love to read fanfics with it, but it's really not my thing to write it).* *English is not my first language so I apologize in advance for any spelling and grammar mistakes. Sorry!* *I haven't written a fanfic since I was at school - in the last century (literally) when I used to create X-files fics and ship Mulder and Scully with all my heart (which I still do, by the way) - however it's been a while and I may be a little rusty (like some bloody nails around some awful barns). But after that awful finale I had to do something or I'd lose my mind.* *I hope you enjoy it!* *Supernatural, its plotlines and its characters are all property of the CW and the show's writers. Fifteen hundred years. I'm sure it's been fifteen hundred years because I've felt every single moment of it. Every draw of breath, every step on the hard ground, every ounce of stark reality has been obvious to me. I'm not the same as I was. Time has a way of digging deep into your spirit and settling its claws there. And I will wait. I have no choice, but I keep telling myself that wouldn't matter. It might not matter. Would he even know me? Behind this familiar face is a creature who has lived the lives of hundreds of tortured souls. Does it show? Could he see the desperation there? If I made him look, really look... If he were here, I like to think I could be who I once was. Could feel the release of the claws of time like a weight coming off my chest. I like to think that weight would be erased. That I would be whole again. Have I only changed for the interim? Could that shroud be lifted for good?

How could Merlin carry on after failing his king and best friend? How could he live, knowing he wasn't enough? How could one man face the brunt of such a colossal failure? Merlin was one man, but he'll come to realise he's not alone. ________________________ This is a collection of interconnected one-shots/short stories of events following Arthur's death and the ups and downs of Merlin's journey through time. Some stories will be through the eyes of various characters who survived the season 5 finale. Expect lots of ANGST, but with hopeful tones, and also comfort and some humour. I want my Merlin to have happy days too! I have lots planned but will take requests too. Can't guarantee anything but I love and appreciate getting new ideas from readers. Updates every Saturday!
