I thought Mockingjay needed more Everlark in the end, instead of just, "Real". So this is one of my takes on how Peeta and Katniss grew back together after the rebellion, and a little bit of post Mockingjay/pre epilogue stuff. This story actually popped into my head while I was emptying my dishwasher, (yay for housework!) and so I thought I'd write it for you lovelies. Their love - though Katniss and Peeta didn't always know it - was, in a way, Always Real.

Peeta Mellark has wanted a baby for years, but his wife Katniss has been infertile. What will happen when Katniss becomes pregnant unexpectedly? This is my take on the Mockingjay epilogue(:

My days are filled with me lying in bed and thrashing through nightmares. The days are dark and dull. I barely leave the house. Greasy Sae forces me to eat. She keeps me running. She cooks and cleans then leaves. I comply to eating then lie down once more. I have no one anymore. There's no point in taking care of myself anymore. I am no Mockingjay.

It wasn't soon after the death of the mockkingjay that Uyrilia Snow led a rebellion that killed all living descendants of previous rebellion leaders. She took over power with little resistance. It wasn't many more years until the old system was established, and the hunger games reinstated. After twenty four years of the new games it has reestablished itself

Its been 50 peaceful years since the Hunger Games ended. People were living peacefully, until 25 years ago. Enobaria has taken over Panem, murdered Katniss and Peeta, and resumed the games, starting from the 76th. Now its the 100th games, and what will happen when Erin and Kyler get chosen for the games? It should go the way the 50th games has gone, but it can't, Erin and Kyler have something about them that seperates them from the other tributes...

Peeta and Katniss have been recovering from the tragedies of the Rebellion for the past fourteen years. Katniss has nightmares and Peeta has flashbacks occasionally, but with each other they've lasted through it all. New obstacles are thrown, but if they have each other, they can get through the good times and the bad.

Katniss has returned to District 12, with only the comfort of Buttercup. Until Peeta returns that is. They navigate the water, trying to build a solid foundation for the future. They hit some brick walls, but they continue to persevere.

Avery Winters. A girl from district 4, who's life started with tragedy. All she wants is to live a happy life, but in a world where the hunger games exist, is that really an option? Still she chooses to try. With the help of her best friend Caspian, and his older brother Finnick. She believes they can face anything. The only question left, is will her story end how it began?

Post-Mockingjay, follows Katniss's life after she returns back to District 12 after the war, follows Peeta in his difficult journey to also get back to Katniss, and even pulls in some Gale here and there. But while Katniss and Peeta seem to finally be safe and free they are unceremoniously shoved into the fierce life of battle.
