In a world where people are oblivious to the onslaught of humanity. In a world where they are restrained. Where they cannot touch one another, can't make friends, and are kept in a gray world of nothingness. Children are grown separated from their parents and from any human contact. As they enter adulthood when they are sixteen; they are given a job. One job they trained their entire life for, which they did not know. This story follows a young boy named Sam, who somehow escapes the restraints and enters the real world. Then the echo. He hears the echo. The strangest word he has ever heard. Echo.
