Loki was pardoned, in a sense. He was put on probation and was sent to stay at Avengers Tower until he made up for his crimes against humanity. One day he meets a child who makes him question his views on the Avengers and children in general. Who is this child and why does everyone care for him so much?

Years after the battle of New York, years after new Meta-humans and Super humans have taken a stand. The Avengers decide it's finally time to disband and start their own lives and their own families. Now, nearly 20 years later, those kids fight to prove that they're not exactly like their parent's and can decide for themselves how to live their lives.

This is an avengers fanfic from the perspective of Thor's family two years after the Manhattan battle. Someone's after Thor and Loki's families; and they have to cooperate to survive. Problem is, none of them are at really good terms. This is a co-op work I'm making with my friend Ruby_girlz. She is writing the same story - only by Loki's family (I also hear she mixed in Stony and Spider-monkey). It is possible to read the story only from me, but you'll get a better view of what's happening if you read both POV.

Takes place after the first Avengers movie, then goes AU. If Odin truly sees Thor and Loki as equal, they ought to face equal punishment for equal crime. Thors suggestion is granted and Loki is stripped of his powers as he banished to midgard where he has to either proof himself worthy or spend the rest of his life on earth without any special powers. Loki though is not so easily broken. He might not have magic nor supernatural strenght. But he still has his wits, his gift of deception, his knowledge and basic skills as a fighter.
