They said Ganymede would break her. They didn't count on what Shyla would do for love. When rogue pilot Shyla Vanderwood is caught smuggling, the government makes her an impossible offer: infiltrate the rising rebellion on Ganymede... or watch her sister Trisch disappear forever into a drone suit. To save her, Shyla must descend into a world of frozen oceans, oxygen thieves, and buried revolutions - where nothing grows but secrets, and every smile might be a knife. Three worlds away, Torley - smuggler, almost-lover, maybe fool - will do anything to find her. Even if it means crossing stars, trading loyalty, and risking everything they once had. Love. Betrayal. Lightning in the void. This is a story about rebels and wings and war. But above all - It's a story about the one person you'd burn the sky for.

On the isolated, tidally locked planet of Venn, a fragile colony survives between fire and frost: a scorched wasteland on one side, a frozen wilderness on the other, and a narrow strip of life clinging to the middle - the Verge. Beneath the surface, the planet's power flows through massive rootlines - a semi-organic energy network left behind by something ancient and non-human. Seventeen-year-old Calidae Crey was never supposed to matter. He's a neurodivergent rootline engineer - observant, withdrawn, always chasing patterns no one else sees. But something happened to him in the labs seven years ago. Something dangerous. Something still not fully understood. Now the rootlines are surging again. Now the past is waking up. And the truth is catching up to him. Cal isn't alone. There's a restless tinkerer with grease under his nails and loyalty in his bones. A scrappy girl who won't let anyone she loves be taken without a fight. And a young survivor of a special ops mission that went horribly wrong, who carries his scars along with a deep, unspoken love for Cal's sister - who has gone missing. Together, they'll face a world shaped by extremes and forged by alien hands. A slow-burn sci-fi thriller about found family, trauma, survival, and the secrets that won't stay buried forever. The world is cracking open. And one boy is the epicenter. ◇◇◇ ⚠️ Content warning: This story contains descriptions of injury, medical trauma, and emotional distress. These elements are handled with care, but some scenes may be intense. Please proceed thoughtfully. Nothing gratuitous, sexual, or explicit.

Highest Ranking: 196 in Science-Fiction ~*~**~*~**~*~**~*~**~*~**~*~**~*~**~*~ The cries of sorrow, the end of it all. They did this, in the name of survival. Lives were lost, protests spoken, but there was no prevail. After all, no sound can be heard in space. ~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~**~*~ Billions of years in the future, where, despite our efforts, the planet has become nearly inhabitable. Warfare has been a constant, and more than once humanity has attempted to start over, to create new technology from scratch. With it should've come peace. But instead, failure and death continued to reign. Humans have also evolved to develop supernatural abilities, which only contributed to the slow technology climb, its constant downfall, and horrid over-pollution. Considering everything, scientists had to find the perfect planet for humans, somewhere away from the desolate Earth. Another place, another fresh start. It's primitive, but the genetically modified and evolved race of today can rebuild society on a safer planet. You see, even if we could stay on Earth, there's a looming issue, one that's much bigger than our planet. The sun. Our beautiful, burning source of light. We need to evacuate before its death. We need to leave Earth behind. Maybe this new planet can be our home. Our world. Our bio. ~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~**~*~ Over 20 characters, a world set billions of years in the future, magic, aliens, and anything else you can imagine. There will be betrayal, power, kindness, and *hopefully* plenty of action.

In a distant future where Earth is forgotten by name but remembered in blood, an engineer of divine machinery begins to unravel the echoes of a godless ancestry. Haunted by visions she cannot translate and drawn to forgotten symbols etched in her very DNA, she searches for truth in a world that worships machines as angels and mistakes ancient scriptures for metaphors of control. As she dives deeper into the subconscious dreamscape of her ancestors, she begins to question everything, divinity, creation, even reality itself. Is faith just memory misfiring through generations? Are the machines she builds sacred... or projections of a frightened consciousness yearning for something lost?
