So this is something I wrote for our College Creative Booklet. Thought I might share it. "A presidential hopeful, the mafioso and Chicago in the 1970's. A combination that could perhaps turn the city around."

James is the typical perfect child of his perfect town. He's athletic, handsome, strong, and the star football quarterback of his high school team. However, James is starting to fall in love with his best friend. A couple problems pop up due to that: he'd ruin his popularity and his entire life. His idyllic little 1950's world would be completely obliterated by his heart.
