powerofdreamer
Four years after Hawkins was saved, the town feels smaller than ever.
For Mike Wheeler, adulthood has arrived quietly without answers, without direction, and without the people who once made everything feel survivable. While his friends build new lives far from Hawkins, Mike remains suspended between the past and a future he can't quite picture, haunted by memories he insists are nothing more than nostalgia and grief.
Told through Mike's point of view, this post-canon story traces the slow unraveling of a boy who grew up believing love was something loud and obvious, only to discover that the most important truths are often the ones left unspoken. As familiar relationships shift and old feelings resurface in unfamiliar ways, Mike is forced to confront the stories he has told himself for years and the cost of believing them.
Set against the quiet aftermath of survival, this is a story about growing up after the world ends, about the weight of silence, and about the difference between what we lose and what we refuse to name.
Because sometimes, the hardest thing to face isn't the past -
it's the future we never let ourselves imagine.
Will be coming out in chapters - one Chapter a week.
