V3 may not have ended the way Team Danganronpa had Hoped, but the Despair they were feeling would only lead to an even brighter Hope down the road. After all, they still had one last Ultimate Weapon up their sleeves.

This is my first time writing anything so I'm nervous posting it but I wanted to do it regardless. A little postgame Saiouma oneshot. The cast has woken up from the simulation. All the pregame memories are gone and all they have now are the fake memories, lies and each other. Can they finally accept the feelings that have been circulating through their hearts for a while now that the stress of the killing game is over? Can Ouma drop the wall he's worked so hard to keep up?

The Archdemon of the Abyss had been felled, but the Qurios' influence still plagues the Kingdom. Reika arrives in Elgado in hopes that the land is healing. As a Wyverian, she holds a deep connection to the fauna, but despite this unique ability, she lets so few people close to her. She has friends, yes, in numerous places, but most of them are kept at a reasonable distance. However, one such friend might be the key to opening her heart and helping her to let go. I do NOT own Monster Hunter. I only own my OC and the plot regarding her.

Well, when I mean some, I mean A LOT ;) Also I know the title sounds like a story you may of already read 'After the Calamity' by yourtreebranchbroke, and I would like to say this story is NOT a remix of that story. If you have not read it yet though I would highly suggest to go read it and the story that comes before it 'Before the Calamity'! Its incredible! The killing game wasn't real. It was just a digital game. Though, the people, who played the game, is real. Even so, their true selfs are shown, while they are sorting out their relationships.

Regardless, they all agree to forgive and forget and continue their usual lives, now even closer than before. This will contain spoilers for Danganronpa Killing Harmony! Also this is mainly a Saiouma fic but there will be some other ships alongside it.

Promises don't always be met to expectation. They might lie, cheat, even stop half way. Maybe he was being stupid, he could've forgotten about it, but the burden he felt weighed like an elephant, and forced him to be undone. He's sorry, Kaede. Very, very sorry.
