As the bombs rained down on District 2 and the Peacekeepers rushed in, Katniss Everdeen knew nothing would ever be the same. The Rebellion was lost. Forced back to their own districts, the citizens of Panem settle back into their old lives. Nothing has changed, except for one thing. The Hunger Games.

Its been 50 peaceful years since the Hunger Games ended. People were living peacefully, until 25 years ago. Enobaria has taken over Panem, murdered Katniss and Peeta, and resumed the games, starting from the 76th. Now its the 100th games, and what will happen when Erin and Kyler get chosen for the games? It should go the way the 50th games has gone, but it can't, Erin and Kyler have something about them that seperates them from the other tributes...

AU. Katniss returns to District Twelve after serving her time for killing the president. Gale and Katniss's mother are still gone. Prim is still dead. Peeta was killed by the lizard mutts instead of Finnick. Annie is also dead. What'll happen when Haymitch and Katniss get a surprise visit from Finnick?

"I went to the woods this morning and dug these up. For her," he says. "I thought we could plant them along the side of the house." Mockingjay p380 Peeta comes back to D12.

My take on what happened between the primroses and the 'real or not real' at the end of the Mockingjay book. All characters belong to the talented Susan Collins.

The Hunger Games never ended. Five years after the rebellion failed, the Capitol still rules-and the Games continue. I thought Mockingjay needed more Everlark in the end, instead of just, "Real". So this is one of my takes on how Peeta and Katniss grew back together after the rebellion, and a little bit of post Mockingjay/pre epilogue stuff. This story actually popped into my head while I was emptying my dishwasher, (yay for housework!) and so I thought I'd write it for you lovelies. Their love - though Katniss and Peeta didn't always know it - was, in a way, Always Real.

Peeta and Katniss have been recovering from the tragedies of the Rebellion for the past fourteen years. Katniss has nightmares and Peeta has flashbacks occasionally, but with each other they've lasted through it all. New obstacles are thrown, but if they have each other, they can get through the good times and the bad.
