Stiles isn't coping well after the nogitsune. He finds a fox in the woods who has a secret.

After the Nogitsune, Stiles suffers alone and quietly. He doesn't talk, eat, or sleep, and nobody really notices, especially Scott. He is ignored, pushed out of the pack, and barely hanging on. Then CreeperWolf (™ pending) stops in his house with a sandwich, and stays. Derek and Ethan text him weekly, as do Chris and Isaac, and he somehow talks to Jackson Whittemore (Jackson freaking Whittemore!) everyday. He also snuggles with Jackson everyday, and occasionally kisses him, but nobody really needs to know that. Eventually, two more kids that have only ever been hurt come in the pack, and oddly enough, they get along. Theo is traumatized from one of the 'big bads' and Liam has never not been judged for his IED. He finds a pack of lonely, hurt, and cruel people. And somehow, everything starts to turn out alright. After the events of Let Me In, Stiles is trying to figure out exactly who or what he is now, there is a lot to take on board in respect of his own abilities alone, let alone whatever is going on with Derek. The Alpha has been avoiding him for the last two weeks and Stiles is so fudging done with his avoidance tactics. They are going to talk about this like grown ass adults or at the very least die trying! Note - this is a sequel to my other fic - Let Me In

Its hard to talk to Scott or his dad when they look at him so broken. Because he is. So he leaves. He finds a small cabin in the woods, starts a garden, and even has a couple chickens. It doesn't help. He still struggles, he's still not eating, not sleeping. Still has purple bags under his eyes. But then Peter Hale and Chris Argent show up, and they don't leave. It happens slowly, he thinks. But fast. He's found his Anam Cara in Peter and Chris, and in turn, they've found their Anam Cara in him.

It is associated with prolonged sleep deprivation, sensory deprivation, or drug use. But it is not widely considered a distinct clinical entity Or Sheriff Stilinski doesn't know how to help Stiles after the Nogitsune attack. In a split decision he calls the only person he can think of who can help, his older brother Bobby. Bobby volunteers to help, and it just snowballs from there. Or Stiles is so done with the things going on around him after the Nogitsune attack. His senses more heightened, and nightmares ever consistent. And now he has to go to his uncles to learn... hunting? Also, who are Sam and Dean and why are they calling him their cousin?

Sometimes he had the feeling of coming back whole only under Derek's fingers and lips. When he touched him, every breaking point weld and, even If Stiles knew they never totally disappeared, he wasn't afraid of them anymore. He didn't know how it was possible and he didn't really care. Everything that could ease that feeling of always being about to break was welcomed, and if it meant that Derek had to use certain parts of his body on him to do so, he certainly wouldn't be the one complaining about it.

Stiles just wants a day away from all of them. He's had weeks, but he wants a day. Unfortunately, Derek's not letting that happen. Title from Brand New's song of the same name.
