Seventeen-year-old Rowan Vale, a quiet literature student with a fascination for astronomy, writes a story about his English teacher's brutal death - right down to the smallest detail. Three weeks later, it happens exactly as he wrote it. He doesn't run. He doesn't defend himself. He simply says, "I warned her," and hasn't spoken since. Now, Mira Lennox, a psychology intern desperate to prove herself, is assigned to his case. She starts reading through his old journals - messy handwriting, half-finished stories, physics formulas crossed with poetry - and realizes he's been writing other people's deaths for years.

She considered the bulls eye as all her problems and worries and she liked to keep on eliminating each one of them by shooting an arrow at it. She let the arrow fly, watching it zip through the air. THUNK. The arrow found homage in the vivid red circle. As the arrow hit the target, she saw her mother lying dead in a freezer; her face devoid of any sparkle that it used to be brimmed with... This is a book to help bring awareness to PTSD. Despite it's growth in awareness, there are still millions of individuals suffering with undiagnosed PTSD. Additionally, the full affect, and causes are still yet to be fully understood by society as a whole. Symptoms go far beyond what is typically seen in the media, and there are individuals who can't get diagnosed because they do not meet the typical symptoms. We need to stop with the stereotyping and spread awareness. 3.6% of the world is suffering, and how many of us are suffering in silence for the fear of being judged or hurt? Too many. This book will also serve as a safe space for me to vent and talk about my experiences and during episodes. PTSD is a thing that will affect you daily and a safe space is very important for healing. Any negative comments will be deleted.
