I said I'd never post another story,poem or whatever on here because I'm terrified of my feelings being shw,n I'm literaly shaking as I write this ...

Young Lanz Rein left his family to go off for war. His people and friends cheered for him and wished him luck, and he thought it is his time to shine and show how he is a man. But war was more than he thought. It wasn't rainbows and unicorns like he thought. It wasn't a piece of cake and it certainly didn't taste like one. It tasted like blood and death. Can he find his way back to his life? Or will everybody be gone by the time he does?

His faultless admirers have long since grown tired of his break-up songs and non-witcher related ballads. Whilst hurtful memories plague him, his concerns are abruptly changed when Nilfgaardian soldiers abduct him and deliver him into the hands of Cahir. Whilst navigating a desperate Cahir and a perilous rescue, Jaskiers loyalties and friendships are not the only things put under fire.
