News of the death of Kylo Ren, along with Hux, and most of the upper-ranking officers made its way through the galaxy like wildfire, and people were equally relieved, but also curious as to how the masked menace had finally met the same fate as his master. While Poe was disappointed that he was not the one who got to kill the evil bastard himself, he was at least grateful that he was gone and posed no threat to the galaxy anymore. Rey had confirmed it when she had come back from Exegol in Luke's ancient, decrepit old X-wing. Poe would have been more happy about the news of Kylo Ren's demise if Rey hadn't been sobbing the entire time. ________ In other words, Finn and Poe find out that Rey is hiding something from them. Suspicions arise, secrets are revealed, chaos ensues.

One week had passed since the final battle of Exegol. After the events on Exegol- Rey is alone. She is struggling to adapt to life on her own, on Tattooine, and with the Resistance's New Republic. She can't help but feel separate from everyone else. Everyone else gladly accepts that the First Order is destroyed and Kylo Ren is dead- that Ben Solo is dead. A loss that she can't admit to herself she feels. Attempting to bury herself in her work, her spark of hope is ignited when an unbidden vision of Ben Solo appears, forcing her to confront her loss and do something about it.

The Force knows it commited a mistake and sends a messenger to the Last Jedi to show her the way to get Ben back. However, Rey will not be alone during her journey...she must not be, or everything she has fought for will be lost forever.

Hivall Surike is a Jedi Padawan under the mentorship of Rey Skywalker at the new Jedi Temple. An eager and curious girl since a young age, Hivall always had a peculiar interest for the Dark Side and its legends since she found out she was Force sensitive. Despite her master's warnings, she departs to go explore an ancient and forgotten planet: Korriban.
