Have you seen so many specialists and have been told to lose weight, eat more salt and exercise and still feel like crap? Then this book is for you. Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome is a rare chronic illness that effects 70 million people world-wide and is not always recognizable in the medical community. Sometimes it feels like I'm black and white, and everyone else is in color. Other times it feels like I'm in color and everyone else is in black and white, and everyone is watching my every move, judging me, and trying to decide if I'm just asking for attention. The truth is, I would do just about anything that I could to get that attention to go away. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and being the only kid in my class with chronic pain is not easy. I have to fight to do everything that most people can do easily and no one realizes it. Instead, when I can't do something, people assume I'm exaggerating and I could do it if I just tried. So I want to share my story for anybody who is going through what I am.

This is a different kind of story. This story is told from Emma and Harry's POV and includes Larry. Emma is a young girl from Virginia. She suffers from the chronic illness, POTS. Consciousness vs. unconsciousness, everything was taken away from her the day she was diagnosed. She had always suspected that she was adopted, but she always got turned down when she brought up the topic. What happens when her POTS lands her in the hospital and changes her life forever. What happens when she figures out that everything she's ever known was a lie. Please read the author's note on the first page to understand the story better. Maybe some TW, I'll let you know when they happen. Also found on AO3 @Otbsweetcreature28
