Johnlock Potterlock AU. John Watson, DADA teacher and head of Gryffindor House, gets rather close with the new potions teacher, Mr. Sherlock Holmes.

Meet John Hamish Watson: a third year attending Hogwarts, the son of a half-blood witch and a Muggle, a Chaser on Gryffindor's Quidditch team, friends with nearly everyone (except those snakey Slytherins), does well in school, and normally stays out of trouble. However, that all changes when he meets Pureblood Sherlock Holmes, a highly-intelligent and unusual Slytherin first year. While one could write a whole series of books on just their adventures in Hogwarts, this story mainly focuses only on the events leading up to the Third Wizarding War - which Sherlock and John may or may not have had a hand in starting. Includes major character deaths, OCs that will not stand to be called Mary Sues, a Slytherin Sherlock, Warstan, VERY minor references to past Mormor, a confused Albus Potter, and the science of deduction. It's nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts and the Wizarding World seems to be back up and running. There are new employees in the school and in the ministry and the losses of family and friends hurt a bit less. The Golden Trio and their old schoolmates now have children of their own attending Hogwarts where they will stir up as much trouble as their parents, if not more, as the staff tries (emphasis in tries) to reign them in.

First story that I'm gonna finish. Basucally, I'm in love with this story and I've decided to do this. I have asked the author. This is a reading of that book but the name has changed. Thank you.
