At the age of 9, she had a bad experience that left her parents worrying about how life-risking it would be to have her apart of the royal family. So what did they do? Send her and her brother Louis half way across the world to Australia. Here, she met Niall Horan, a sweet and charming young Irish boy who also moved to Australia. He's considerate, kind and a little too protective. The catch? He's hiding something from her. Something rather big. But just when things seem to be going well for her, she gets contacted from home saying she has to have an arranged marriage with an upcoming prince, Zayn Malik. This would be fine, considering her boyfriend Harry Styles has just dumped her, but she doesn't like the idea at all. Will he be able to change that? And then to top it off, she starts getting mysterious texts and phone calls from a stranger. Will Sophie end up getting the normal life she wants? Or will her past catch up to her?

I had to come up with a short story for English to enter into the Young Georgia Writers Contest. Hope you like it!!

A dream. Reality. Footsteps. In this short, scary but true story, these go together and connect. This happened to me IRL and I will never forget it. Hope you won't either, once you read this retelling of it.

This story is about a girl named Cam. Who has lived in a small town in Georgia all her life. Then when her mom gets a new job. Cam has to move! Not only that but to the city that never sleeps.....New York City! Can she survive a whole new climate? A whole new scenery? She now has to teach New York City that she belongs and that it's okay to be different. It's bad enough that she sticks out in her clothing style but to have a slight country accent, she's a major target in high school. This is Cam's fight for acceptance.

Excerpt: I looked up and i swear in that moment I saw god. For a couple of seconds I tried to figure out if i had hit my head on the floor so hard that I died and God was giving me a personal welcome into heaven. The guy was tall and muscular with dark hair and forest green eyes. Confidence and authority radiated out from him. Even the way he held him self demanded respect. I swear that I just died again looking at him. He was the cutest, most handsome man that I have ever set my eyes upon. I feel like i should be bowing in front of him or something. Inside my head my wolf was suddenly very present, chating something in my head. I was so intrigued by him that I wasn't even bothered by my wolf. He cockily strode forward till there was no room left in between us. My heart rate picked up, and it was loudly thumping in my chest. My breathing labored. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer till our chests were toughing. His fingers trailed up and down my back leaving trails of sparks so good and intense feeling that I almost moaned out load. He slowly brought his lips down onto mine. Sparks exploded and i kissed him back hard. i felt like i was dying and he was my savior. The light to my darkness. From that moment on I really started to live. Everything around me disappeared as our kiss grew hungrier. It was just me and him. My lips were on fire and his lips were the ice. Finally he pulled away breathless. "Your mine."
