James "Bucky" Barnes has ten trigger words that turn him into The Winter Soldier. Are these words random, or do they mean something more? In this fanfic I basically make up scenarios to go with each word. These are all important to Bucky. They shape him. They establish a relationship with his earliest friend. Read as I explore writing these scenes, and as I explore Bucky's mind.

I am not a professional historian, nor am I a professional author. I am just a student who is interested in the life and times of John Laurens and the American Revolutionary war. This is a book that I am writing for fun, with the hope that I can help some people get a rough idea of the life of this great soldier, and maybe even spark someone's interest in this time period.
