Over the years demons have escaped for short times, causing huge disasters before their recapture. Only one demon has managed to stay out of the wizards hands. Me, Daelin. I was imprisoned, but the wizard that guarded my prison was young and greedy for power. He set me free and I made him the first of a new kind of monster, the vampire, in return. He started the chain, creating monsters that spread worldwide. And now I can use the toys my first has created to exact my revenge on the human race, bringing me into power. Now it's time for my toys to take over the human race, and for me to exact my revenge.
