A transport freighter catches up with the Night Dagger II and hails it down, bringing with it a special guest to come on board. A forgotten Jedi Knight from the Clone Wars Era and Dax Razz's early years turns up to reunite with Razz, but what is this ancient Jedi Holocron he brings with him that threatens to overpower the Balance of the Force? Can Dax Razz and the Crew of the Night Dagger II unravel this mystery and stop the untamed powers of the Jedi Holocron before its too late?

As the Jedi Kosan Vaib struggles to recover from the Great Jedi Purge, he spends his time in search of other surviving Jedi. When he finds a sect of Jedi living in an outer rim he goes on a quest to join them and fight against the new Empire. But will his new apprentice's feelings cloud his judgment?
