Nathina Martin keeps receiving hand written messages everyday for a week, about blackouts. She struggles to figure out why and then soon figures out why. When a world wide power outage strikes, she's the only one who's prepared.

A college student is on her way to a celebration with friends after finishing their exams before the Christmas holidays. As she makes her move to leave, the weather outside turns frightful and causes a major power outage. This causes the elevator she is on to stop working. She is now stuck. To entertain herself she decides to chronicle her situation in her journal. These are her entries.
