*Mario Theme Play* Princess Peach has been captured once more and it's up to the Mario Gang to jump up to the challenge, travel through the kingdoms and levels/land to retrieve back the princess. The powerups of Mario's world are useful in many ways. Aside from providing special abilities to those who collect them, they also make for a great casual meal. All the time these powerups are more or less objects-they have eyes and sometimes a mouth, but they remain silent and still. But somewhere, out in the open ocean far from the mainland, on a small archipelago, things are different. The powerups on this archipelago are sentient. Something had caused them to develop minds of their own. They can see. They can talk. They can use the abilities they give to others. And most importantly, they settled into this archipelago, calling it their home. With many to meet and a whole archipelago to explore, it's time to shift the spotlight to a more unlikely group of characters.
