Story time: This story is supposed to be submitted in a story writing contest, but I was late because I thought that the topic that I chose was scheduled after a week. But little did I know, it was the day after I just joined. Enjoy and may the Lord show His greatness over your life! Chosen topic: Write about someone proposed to on Christmas Eve This story is about a man named Tim, proposing to Silva on a cold-withered Christmas Eve. My original poem written in April 2020 for HSLDA's poetry contest. The requirement was each line start with the letter that followed the previous line's first letter. I began with "A" and ended with "T".

Oh no

My story is a true story about a vision that I received about 12 years ago when I was close to death and having terrible tummy issues. It's the most real thing I ever experienced and I can't stress enough how there is a whole other realm waiting for us after death! In my vision, I got to see heaven and Jesus himself! I just want to spread the word that heaven is real and ignite all my fellow believers with a spark of revelation.

Over the past few months, Kyla Baker has become extremely distant and depressed. Eventually, she resorted to coping mechanisms such as self-harm, starving herself, and emotional detachment. After discovering her cuts, her parents are at a loss of what to do with her. Her father suggests mental hospitals and her mom thinks she'll grow out of it through socialization. They decide to send her back to school for her senior year. On the first day, Kyla meets a boy named James. Unlike Kyla, who hasn't believed in any religion in years, James seems close with God. She hates it. James continues to try and help her, and they both get close and unravel secrets about eachother nobody else knows. In this moving novel, it combines usual fictional elements with Christian-like love. It demonstrates real-world problems and how the right people, and God, can help in a major way.
