This version will be a little slower in updates because I'll be working harder on getting it just right. If you've read the older version (re-written version) you will know that it was written in first person. I feel that I can give more information by doing a third person version. This version will hopefully be professionally published in the future, so when that time comes this will be taken down, but in the meantime, I would appreciate opinions. Dorothy Nicoletta Pearl Daniels has been blind since birth. Many think that shouldn't bother her, but Nicky feels differently. She finds her main source of joy in the music she loves so much, and in her best friend. Still, being without light isn't what you could call easy, even if you've never known anything different. Without God, this seems an insurmountable trial. Then Nicky goes to a school specializing in music; a vocal school. Between her best friend, her teacher, her roommate, and the "neighbor across the hall", Nicky slowly moves toward God, and finds the light greater than any other; she finds that the Light of the heart shines far brighter than that of the sun she has so long wished she could see.
