Some people see the world as it is. Mira Summerbell sees the war underneath. To everyone else, high school is about grades, cliques, and survival. To Mira, it's a battlefield. She has the Sight. She sees the demons hitching rides on students' backs. She hears the lies whispered in the corridors. She sees the chains wrapped around the people she loves. She didn't ask for this gift. She just wants to be normal. But you can't ignore a fire when you're the only one holding water. Alongside a small circle of believers: the broken, the watchful, and the brave, Mira must stand against a darkness that is evolving. It's no longer just hiding in the shadows. It's standing at pulpits. It's influencing the curriculum. It's wearing a suit and smiling. They say ignorance is bliss. For Mira, ignorance is a casualty count. She used to believe without question- until life gave her a reason not to. For as long as she can remember, Faith wasn't something she chose- it was something she was handed. Something she was handed. Something she was expected to hold onto without doubt, without hesitation, without breaking. But when everything she trusted begins to fall apart, so does her certainty. Prayers feel empty. Silence feels louder than any answer. And the God she was taught would always be there suddenly feels impossibly far away. Caught between the life she was raised to live and the truth she can no longer ignore, she begins to drift- away from her faith, her identity, and the person she used to be. Until she reaches a place she never thought she would... where letting go feels easier than holding on. But in the quiet aftermath of everything she's lost, something begins to stir- not the faith she once knew, but something deeper. Something chosen. Something real. And for the first time, she begins to wonder... What if Faith isn't about never falling apart- but about finding your way back, even after you do?

As a Christian who believes in Jesus is to be a Good neighbor, a Good Samaritan like story Jesus told in the bible about the man who didn't expect the man who was robbed to be suspicious or demand he change his ways forcing an ultimatum. While my Christian friends enjoy the prayer books and devotions I have out keep in mind fellow readers I create and publish them infrequently in order to avoid putting myself amongst the too preachy people out there. People who are too preachy turn more non-believers off than it helps. This is also biblically based for me the way I write books that deal with Christianity the whole point of becoming a follower of Christ is first and foremost message is. 'Come Just As You Are.' which is literally captured in the bible when Jesus literally calls his disciples forward. That is why in each description of my Christian orientation book this friendly message occurs. "I am a Christian but all non-believers are welcome to these pages. I will not force anyone to believe in anything as that's not what Christianity is about and whether you believe in God and Jesus isn't up to me but your own responsibility. I can't make your mind up for you; it has to be your decision, not mine or any of my fellow current Christians' decisions."_Lumna10. P. S. This book will not be for retails. So don't ask about publishing it anywhere else. All my prayer and devotion books are up so that people who cannot buy books and don't have time or internet access or a library in the area near them can learn about God and his promises in a non-judgemental and non-pressurizing way. I do my best to keep them as impartial as possible my personal relationship with God is not likely going to be the same as yours. Devotions in book, I found were anonymous.

Life rarely goes as planned. When I was 9 years old, all I wanted to be was a nun. But then, what Catholic school girl doesn't have that passing thought? Then I felt that call again in High School. But with my mental health in tatters, I was rightly turned gently away by the order I reached out to. So I closed that door for good. Or so I thought. Life rarely goes as planned, and right now, I find myself in the depths of wrestling with the highest of highs in my religious life, but some of the lowest of lows in my personal health. Vulnerability has never come easy to me. But I want to record this journey for myself, as much as for others. If you read it, I hope it brings you some peace in a world of strife. Or perhaps offers you a hand to hold, to know you aren't alone in your struggles. This discernment journey is on going. It is full of ups and downs. And I do not yet know the end. Come discover it with me.
