The Puppeteer - A Tale Of Tragedy Book One - Age Rating 16+ "Villains aren't born; they're made." That's the line you're never allowed to say. Simply, no one wants to believe they're the reason evil exists. Before I became the Puppeteer, ruler of Terra-before the world feared my name-I was just a girl. Willow Palmer. Autistic, queer, thirteen alone. I didn't ask to be broken. I didn't ask to be turned into a monster. But when the world kept pushing, I stopped trying to be good. This is my story. The one I wrote among many others. The one they buried. The one they're too afraid to tell. I was bullied, silenced, ignored. I lost friends. I lost family. I lost dreams. I lost myself. And somewhere in the wreckage of my teenage years, I found something else: power. Not the kind they teach you to crave-but the kind that burns everything down. I didn't become the Puppeteer overnight. But if you want to know how I got there-if you want to understand the villain I became-then start here. Because I remember everything.

12070. The number whispered in my mind. Menacing, dooming, yet soothing, like the hug of a python before it chokes. I knew what it was. It was my name - but it wasn't. Confusion clouded my thinking, and I wanted to scream again. My throat closed, and I felt my chest spasm as panic gripped me once more. No, I was not going to have a panic attack. Tough girls didn't have panic attacks. Tough. That final word rang clear and loud. I was a tough girl. Almost like the first word of a well-known cliche, my name fell into place beside "tough." Brianny. My real name.

"We've been called different names throughout history," he tells me. "Titans, Gods, guardian angels, superheroes..." He lists them as he reads my face, testing my reactions to them. "We have been worshiped as creators, divine beings, though that isn't what we are. We are saviors, Emma." "Saviors of what?" * * * Emma Belmonte is seventeen, and her life is already over. She's been planning it for months, wondering how best to leave the world with a bang. Nine stories; one hundred-and-two feet - a death drop by all standards. She jumps from the hotel roof with the anticipation that her pain will be over in an instant, but she emerges a survivor of the impossible. And, upon waking, becomes an embodiment of the impossible as well. Never again will she take advantage of her own mortality. Never again will she underestimate what being alive has to give her. Emma Belmonte is seventeen, and she will always be. - - - - - - SENTINEL is a Science Fiction novel that touches on the philosophy that humanity is a double-edged sword, neither good nor bad. It is an adventure of discovery and awakening, heroes and villains, battles lost and won. All of which inevitably lead to the violent ending of human civilization. In other words, apocalypse is coming. With an ancient superhuman society at your back and numerous weapons in your arsenal, is it still possible to defend humanity from itself? This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. #83 in Science Fiction, 24/07/2016

Link has struggled to find and decode the memories he's found in his journey, so he goes back to where it all began. In hopes of discovering who he is, or rather who he was. He relives his life before the Calamity and realizes it's not all it's cracked up to be. He sees the world from his sister's point of view and learns about who he was through letters she left for him. Warnings: Graphic depictions of violence (I will try to put warnings at the top of each chapter), minor shipping (not trying to but helps the flow of the story and with certain details), vulgar language, and very minor spoilers for Age of Calamity (you probably would only notice them if you've played the game). Hey, ya'll please be gentle this is my first story. I want to explicitly say that this story is set pre-calamity and is following my OC as she tries to work with her brother (Link). Oh, and the cover is not my art. None of the characters belong to me they belong to Nintendo. Except for a select few OC's. Enjoy.

Silence. That's all I ask of the world, but that want will never be realized. Nobody can pinpoint the exact moment when the sky itself started to speak. Well, perhaps not the sky, but what we built up to it. It's our own doing, after all. Everywhere that humans with the capacity to manipulate reside, there is a Hum; perpetually overhead, inescapable. It's starting to change people. Once they become aware of its constant presence, it doesn't just fade into the background anymore; then it's not just a hum. It's a migraine, an incapacitator. Eventually, it's kills.
