Alice Manson is a twenty-six year old woman addicted to heroin, cigarettes, alcohol and deadbeat men. When she finds her boyfriend of twelve years dead, she burns her house to the ground with his body within. She seeks out the only people in the world who know how to take care of her; Merle and Daryl Dixon. *This is a pre-apocalypse Daryl Dixon fan fiction. TRIGGER WARNING!!! [This story will contain graphic content and descriptions of gore, so major trigger warning for blood and guts] Mars is your typical alternative kid. A little reserved, introverted, but he has a heart of gold once you get to know him. He doesn't have much in common with his classmates, however, just like them, he is just trying to get by. Like most kids his age, his is trying his best to balance out his home life, albeit less than ideal, along with his schoolwork and social life. As if he needed more on his plate, he starts having strange dreams. Not strange as in a fever dream, but strange in their realism. His dreams grow more and more intense and realistic, graphic images of absolute chaos and mayhem as far as the eye can see, the sounds of bloodcurdling screams fill his ears. This continues for weeks. Night after night, he awakes in a cold sweat, heart racing, breath quick. Until one day, it starts happening while he's awake. This story follows Mars. Our reclusive yet observant main character, as he attempts to make sense of his bizarre visions. He knows that they are no ordinary day dreams, they are no coincidence. They have to mean something. This is his story as he battles his own mind, fighting to hold onto his sanity as everyone around him begins to question it. He is certain that his visions are a warning, a prophecy of some kind. He is determined to understand exactly why he is seeing them, and how to prevent them from manifesting into reality. Little does he know, the fate of the entire world depends on it. The real question is: will he be able to stop it in time?
