My mom worked as a nurse at the local hospital, and my dad was the history teacher at the high school. But that was before. Before the car crash, before my dad died, before the woman I thought was my mom was walked out of the small apartment where we lived in handcuffs. Before they took me to live with strangers I've never met, who think I'm their kid. Before I gained two older brothers and an army of band members as my family.
