Some battles have to be fought alone, some paths have to be crossed alone, so don't get emotionally attached to someone, as you don't know when you have to walk alone. After Pihu goes missing, Preeta is pregnant again but decides to hide the truth from Luthras so that they don't take her baby away from her. She even forbids Karan from meeting her, she's deeply heartbroken by allegations against her, she just wants to run away with her child and later slap the Luthras with the truth, especially Karan of not being infertile.
