-Invitation Letter From: Principal Hiroki Hayakawa
In the world of competition, Apocalypse laid the very foundation upon which everything continues to build, year after year.
Through unending conquest, relentless war, unyielding famine, and world-ending death-these are the four principles that shaped the "World of Competition" we know today.
As of today, I would like to extend my congratulations to you, Mr. Malcolm Or'do Lévesque, on your acceptance into our institution. I understand that your journey to this point has not been without its challenges. However, allow me to assure you that here at Shado, we value you for who you are-not for what you are worth.
We look forward to welcoming you at our school's opening ceremony.
May the guardians watch over you and keep you from harm.
(Important Note: Although some characters share names with real-life racehorses, this story does not reflect their actual histories or personalities. It is a largely fictional work based on my own interpretations of the characters and their origins. Most of the cast is inspired by horses born in the 1970s, including Maruzensky, who was born in 1974.)
(Notable Important Note: If anyone's wondering why I chose these characters, it's mostly because my "boomer" mindset ends up shaping how they talk-which I find pretty gag-worthy. Also, I've been piling up sitcom GIFs this month, and I really want to put them to good use.)
