Fallon is a lucky girl that gets a scholarship to a very prestigious school. She lives with her older brother Carter since their parents passed away in an accident. She takes it knowing that if she doesn't her brother won't be happy, and she doesn't want to cause any more stress than needed for him. She goes, and the first girl she meets gives her a hard time. A boy names Nicolas helps her, not that she asked for his help. She learns that he's the most popular boy in her grade and that the girl, Sage, is the most popular girl in their grade. Not the nicest person at the school. After meeting Fallon, Nicolas is intrigued and wants to get to know her better. He does that by annoying her, not that he realizes that he's annoying her. Fallon knows that she's lucky to be there, but hates being surrounded by spoiled kids. Nicolas especially, since he never leaves her alone. The only good thing about it is that she's not constantly alone. Nicolas likes her, not that he's willing to admit it. He uses the excuse that he's only ever known kids like him. He's never met anyone like Fallon. They slowly become friends, and Nicolas starts walking her home since she lives off campus. At first, he just wanted to see how she lived, but now they talk and joke, and Fallon actually enjoys talking to him. They have their ups and downs. They won't put up with people messing with Fallon. They actually get all their homework down. But will they be able to survive themselves?
