The end of days is upon us, we only have each other. The first case being in another country no one though it would happen here. We were wrong, it's here, and no one seems to be able to stop it. The virus, it's hitting us harder than a lightening bolt to the face. Casey knew it was coming, he saw it from the beginning but no one wanted to believe him.

This is YEAR FIVE of my collection of poetry made from ranging moods, styles & motifs; each telling a perspective on life, as I, the author, see it. "How about we make a deal?" His dark brown eyes looking straight into mine. "if I win then you will have to be my girlfriend for a week. Kissing, cute pet names and hand holding will be included." He moved a step closer towards me. I just pretended not to notice. "Oh, lucky me." I said, the sass echoing through the room, vibrating through his heart. His facial expression tells all. "but if I win, you will have to dress up like the guy who created the pen- pineapple apple- pen song and sing his greatest contribution to the world in front of the whole school." I said. His smirk no longer on his face and instead a full-blown smile. "You are so on." He said taking a step forward, making us almost 1-inch apart. You broke me, but I was prepared

Rilynn Smithson just wanted a single weekend to herself, a rare occurrence with her busy job, but when the time finally comes, her brother convinces her to drive one of his friends to a camp out. She is whisked off into an adventurous drive, with mistakes, feelings and discovery.
