A few fresh bandages are pathetically stuck on the exposed cuts scattered across her right-hand fingers, most half-dangling off. A full box of bandaids and an uncapped tube of neosporin similarly lay beside her. Yor's face reddens. "I-They were starting to come off while I slept, so I figured it was time I replaced them. I'm... sorry." Twilight doesn't quite understand what she's apologizing for. But Loid steps fully into the bathroom and lowers himself to sit in front of Yor. "Would you like an extra pair of hands?"

[STAR TREK AU MINI STORY SCENE] An Early Exploration Mission aboard the USS Arsenal goes wrong when Dr. T'lirri is severely injured on Bia Delta XIX, resulting in a severe injury when she takes a hit meant for Captain Hayvna and it causes emotional tension between her and Hayvna. Hayvna struggles with the guilt of T'lirri getting hurt and refuses to take time off for her own recovery, causing concern for both the crew and T'lirri.

Sakura doesn't know why Sasuke ended up in the hospital again. She simply knows something's changed. Disclaimer - I don't own Naruto. This was written for the Jutsu theme for SasuSaku Month 2021. One of the things I didn't get to touch upon is why Sasuke is acting the way he is in this - it remains an unknown for both Sakura and Naruto. On top of Sasuke listening to Kakashi on revenge, he'd told the Sound Four no which they didn't like. The result of him not looking for revenge anymore is some of his old personality coming out, yet he also never properly dealt with his grief. (7/6 on AO3)

Templeton had gone to the bar and grill for a nice evening listening to music. Then he got into a fight. And it spiraled from there.

Keith feels his eyes prick, the swell of the music matching the swell of his heart and finally, finally he feels complete, he feels whole again, in a way he hasn't since his parents gently rested their fingers overtop of his, showing him where to put his hands. He doesn't know why they work so well, doesn't know why Lance has him running his fingers along the keys like he's being found instead of getting lost, and part of him is inclined to say it doesn't really matter why. Because fuck, Keith hasn't played like this since... Not since he'd left. Not since he'd taken the first step, pushed everyone out of his life before they could do it to him. Not since he'd packed his bags and ran away to the other side of the country without saying anything, without telling anyone, without a goodbye. He reasoned that it would've happened sooner or later, everybody always left and this was just his way of making sure it hurt him less than it hurt anyone else. But fuck if playing with Lance didn't feel like coming home.
