I didn't include the Mikaelsons partners due to me not being able to write romance.

My favorite part?" I began to laugh somewhat maniacally. "Probably the fact that my biggest fear is other people. Probably the fact that our biggest enemy is our own kind. Even the obnoxious little girl who had been pouting on her daddy's lap was wide-mouthed and taken aback. The therapist finally broke the silence, "Oh, honey that's not what I meant...BUT..." she began searching for words of encouragement, "...great answer! ...uhm...Are you ready now, sweetie?" She gave me a weak smile that revealed her meek hope. I sighed disappointed. I gave in, exhausted and followed her down the hallway to her room, otherwise known as my own personal torture chamber for as long as my moneybags daddy and fragile little mommy thought I was fucked up. I didn't bother to make eye contact with any of them. I left the waiting room without so much as a goodbye to my parents. I was so frustrated. They still didn't seem to get it. I wasn't the crazy one, they were.

This is just a short drabble/character study for my OC Marianne (which is what my account is named after) and my friend's OC Simon. It's labeled as a Heathers inspired because their roles in this AU are slightly similar to that of Veronica and JD in Heathers: The Musical (that's not really relevant to this fic specifically but I tagged it because Mari and Simon are very different in canon). Mari's personality IS based on my own, but I wouldn't say this is a vent fic since her experiences are completely different from mine.
