"I just want her to be happy," Damian finally says, and it's nothing but it's everything. Becky smiles, soft. "Then you don't need to follow anyone's heart but your own. You know Anya! You know what she likes. What would make her happy." She winks at him. "And for what it's worth, there's no reason you can't make asking her out a memory that will be happy for you, too." What Anya likes... What would make him happy, too... An idea dawns. (Or: Damian decides to confess to Anya. Surely this time-this time-he'll finally succeed. Audentes Fortuna iuvat, Damian!)

"Thanks for the invite. But I don't intend to grace your party with a Desmond's presence." "Oh, really?" Becky says, and the coyness of her voice sends a shiver down Damian's spine. She leans forward, one hand cupped to faux-whisper in his ear. "By the way-you're only invited, Damian, because Anya wants you there." The heat of a thousand suns rushes to Damian's face as he jerks away from Becky. "You-she-what?!" (Or: It's Becky's seventh birthday. Nothing will happen that will make Damian lose his composure. Especially not with Anya. Right?)

In the heart of the ocean, shrouded by mists and mystery, lies the Isle of Nebularesis - a place where the realm of the fae is blurred and unearthly creatures exist. Beneath the rugged cliffs and jagged shores of this enchanted isle, hidden from the prying eyes of humanity, lies a prison unlike any other. Within the depths of the island's labyrinthine caverns, a prison forged of ancient magic houses the most dangerous and elusive of fae creatures. Here, amidst the echoing whispers of forgotten spells and the eerie glow of bioluminescent fungi, the fae convicts are bound by iron and ironclad law. At the heart of this subterranean realm lies the Forum of Shadows - a deadly arena where prisoners are forced to compete in a brutal contest. The clang of iron reverberates through the stone corridors as warriors from across the fae realms clash in a battle for survival. None survive. Caught amidst this deadly game is Lyra, a fae girl from a forgotten house. Trapped for hundreds of years within the prison's walls. As she navigates the treacherous waters of this enchanted realm, she discovers dark secrets hidden beneath the surface - secrets that threaten to unravel the delicate balance between the realm of the fae and that which exists beyond the Veridian Horizon - Zephyria. But as Lyra delves deeper into the mysteries of the Isle of Nebularesis, she finds herself drawn into the deadly contest of the Forum of Shadows. With each challenge, she uncovers pieces of a sinister plot that could spell doom for both the the fae realms and beyond. With time running out and enemies closing in from all sides, Lyra must harness her courage and unlock the hidden power within her if she is to survive the deadly game of iron and shadows. But in a realm where nothing is as it seems, even the most innocent of actions can have dire consequences.

Yor is sitting on the soft blue mat in front of the bathtub, dozens of small bandages discarded on the floor around her. A few fresh bandages are pathetically stuck on the exposed cuts scattered across her right-hand fingers, most half-dangling off. A full box of bandaids and an uncapped tube of neosporin similarly lay beside her. Yor's face reddens. "I-They were starting to come off while I slept, so I figured it was time I replaced them. I'm... sorry." Twilight doesn't quite understand what she's apologizing for. But Loid steps fully into the bathroom and lowers himself to sit in front of Yor. "Would you like an extra pair of hands?"
