The Rebellion is over but the Games aren't. After defying the Capitol and Coin, it is Katniss' turn to pay. President Snow is dead but in his place is Coin, seeking revenge for the Mockingjay betraying her. And so she plans the Game to End all Games Most characters are owned by Suzanne Collins but some are my own creation.

They said she would live out her life in peace after the games. That she wouldn't have to fight ever again. They lied.

Katniss's desperation over Peeta's absence translates into rage towards District 13's leaders.

"I never give up as long as there's blood running through these veins" Cahira was told that once she won her games, she would be free of President Snow. Now, being forced back into the arena for the Quarter Quell, she is approached by Haymitch Abernathy and agrees to his deal. Finnick Odair gets out of the arena alive, if she protects Katniss Everdeen with her life. The rebellion has started. @-apoptosis

When Sandi gets chosen to participate in the 130th Hunger Games, she knows her life is going to turn upside-down—and come to its end. What if the Capitol-citizens weren't the only bad ones in the story of Panem? What if there was a secret society who forced people to fake their own death and come into hiding so they could turn them into flawless human beings? What if this was often the case when we thought, our favorite characters had died? Wat if someday, the younger ones would be set free, under a new identity? And what if Primrose Everdeen decides, to finally do something against her kidnappers? This story is based on something, I read online, but most of the storyline is made up by me. All characters, except from the ones, I invented, belong to Suzanne Collins.

While she, her former mentor (Finnick Odair), and the rest of the tributes train for the games, they learn of a plan to save the victors, if they agree to protect Katniss Everdeen, the Mockingjay. But when Mari spills a Capital secret, President Snow will do everything in his power to make sure she dies in the Games, and suffers while doing so. Unknowingly, she becomes a symbol of hope for the Districts and sparks rebellion. They call her The Mermaid. Even if she does live long enough to be rescued from the arena, she doesn't realize what the consequences will be if she makes it out alive. minutes before my mother was in the icy clutches of the capitol she told me, "protect her for me, alright?" i nodded. a shadow hovered above us as we walked in the forest between district 11 and 12. we had almost reached 13 before death creeped upon. the sky had abruptly started to darken as we wandered throughout the trees. i remember the sky darkening and a shadow crawling over us. it all happened so fast, my father yelling at me to run, and to take hope. i took her hand and we started running through the trees. we didn't run far enough. not far enough to spare her eyes from the light leaving my father's light brown eyes, and most certainly not far enough to escape the shrilling screams of my mother. we became orphans in under 5 minutes. we had no supplies, weapons or food. we were helpless. as tears ran down hope's face, i was certain of one thing. i never wanted to be that helpless ever again.
