camp ended; max's parents never came. so, david took it into his own hands. he took max home with him. it was better that way. almost the entire camp ended up going to the same school, and they continued talking to each other. it's been 4 years and max has started getting some unusual feelings toward his best friend. who's up for another year at camp campbell?
