CEO Series 1 Cassiane Estelle Sy is a best-selling author who writes tragic endings because she stopped believing in love. Struggling with severe writer's block, drowning in debt, and desperate to provide for her pets, she has run out of options. Her estranged family suddenly returns with an offer: marry Azrael Xavier Xie, the cold and powerful heir of Xinghen Group. The irony? This is the man her sister has always dreamed of. Money is more important than pride. She agrees. To the world, he is Xavier-charming and wealthy. But behind closed doors, he is Azrael-a man broken by trauma who never learned what love means. To him, love is possession. Care is control. She enters the marriage as the self-proclaimed "President of Man Haters," annoyed by his arrogance and planning his death in her mind. But the more he tries to cage her, the more she realizes he isn't just a monster-he is just empty. Two broken souls. One who writes sad endings. One who lives in darkness. The stars aligned to bring them together. But can they heal each other? Or is this just another tragedy?

Annika Ashford has spent her whole life being stared at-judged for something beyond her control. Born with a condition that causes constant, involuntary movements, she has always felt like an outsider. Bullied, misunderstood, and seen as "weird," she has learned to navigate a world that often fails to understand people like her. But Annika refuses to be defined by the whispers and the stares. Despite the struggles, she pushes herself to excel in high school, determined to prove that she is more than her condition. She studies harder, works smarter, and fights against every limitation placed upon her. Yet, behind the achievements and the forced smiles, she carries a burden no one truly sees-the exhaustion of always pretending to be okay. Through Annika's story, Pretending to Be Okay sheds light on the unseen battles of living with a disability. It explores the raw emotions, the silent thoughts, and the unspoken pain of wanting to be treated like everyone else. It is a journey of resilience, identity, and self-acceptance-of learning that strength isn't about hiding your struggles but embracing them. Will Annika continue pretending, or will she finally find the courage to live without apologies? Themes Life struggles as a person with a disability (PWD) The reality of being bullied and judged The pressure to always appear strong The journey of self-acceptance The unseen battles of those who are "different" A deeply personal and emotional story, Pretending to Be Okay is not just Annika's story-it's the story of anyone who has ever felt like they didn't belong.

"He needed a relationship to save his empire." "And I needed one to shut my grandfather up." "Falling in love?" *scoffs* "That's not part of the contract." ~~~ It was meant to be just a setup of a fake relationship at first, for their own beneficial needs. Nothing more than that-no feelings, no attachments, no crossing the lines. Just appearances and pretendings. But pretending is never easy as it sounds. What started as a fake contract soon itched to become something dangerously soft. As photoshoots turn into lingering stares, and staged kisses start to feel weirdly real, the lines between performance and reality that they promised not to cross begin to blur in ways neither of them could control. And when the curtain falls, they had to choose-love or legacy. "Terms and Conditions Of Love" By: Ria🌸

Por is patient, steady, and kind in ways that don't need words. Teetee is warm, careful, and slowly realizing this was never just a plan. Somewhere between numbers and silence, they begin to understand each other-not perfectly, but enough. But when the truth begins to surface, Teetee learns that not everything can be controlled like an equation... and Por isn't someone you can reach through pretending. Sometimes, the only thing left to do is stop trying to solve it- and just let it be.

SEQUEL TO STAY CLOSE All I wanted was her. I just wanted to be with her, to be able to always see her or talk to her. But then, the man I hated most in the world took her from me and then had the audacity to die. I would find her. I didn't know if she was alive, but I would find her. Maybe meeting a partner in crime could help, if said partner was as sketchy as Walsh before my maybe-dead girlfriend murdered him. ~ This will definitely make absolutely no sense if you did not read Stay Close first. *UNEDITED

"Breaking Free" Written by Courtney Sumrall (BookWriterAlways). I've been struggling with depression for almost five years now and It's hard to pull through because It feels like I'm drowning in the darkness. Depression has made me do harmful things to myself and I have been unhappy with myself for a very long time. I punish myself every day by self-harming because I feel like I'm nothing to anyone or to the world. I feel like I'm worthless and that no one will ever like me. I wrote this poem book from my experience with depression, with self-harm and with suicide attempts. You are not alone.
