Hope Jewel Hernandez dropped her studies to accept a one time offer of becoming a writer in Ireland, despite the sentiments of her family. She was determined to prove to them that she made the right decision but of course some things would happen when you least expect them to. As she was leisurely walking around the marvelously decorated hallways of Dublin Castle as a reward and challenge given by the company she's working on, she ran into Maverick Jace Boru, a charming young man who pretended to be a tour guide. Although a romantic relationship is not one of her main agenda at the moment, she can't seem to get her mind off of him. But what will happen when she would discover his true identity? Would she want him as close as he wants her? Or would she rather cower away?

Mabibigyan pa ba ng lugar ang kapayapaan? May puwesto pa ba ang paghilom ng bawat pilat? May makakagawad ba ng pagpapatawad? At may tatanggap pa ba ng salitang "pagmamahal"? Hanggang saan ang kaya mo mapagtakpan lang ang tinatago mong dilim? Kaya mo bang magmahal ng taong nababalot ng napakaraming lihim? Anong maskara ba ang kaya mong suotin matanggap ka lang ng lipunan at magkaroon ka lang ng katahimikan? Mahal mo siya. Ngunit, matatanggap ka kaya n'ya sa kabila ng napakadilim na nakaraang mayroon ka? Mahal ka niya. Ngunit, handa ka bang baguhin ang mga bagay na kinalakhan mo ng gawin para lang maging bagay kayong dal'wa? Isang taong may madilim na nakaraan nagmahal ng isang taong dugo at karahasan ang kakambal. Magkatagpo kaya ang puso ng dal'wang taong parehong hindi naman buo at walang bahid ng pagpapakatotoo?

We paint such a perfect picture for the world to see and then we turn around and close the doors behind us. Leaving our darkest secrets to ourselves. Sometimes you have to break that barrier and be honest with not just everyone, but yourself. They blurred the truth so much not even I could tell what was real anymore. I WILL NOT be the one to pretend.
