This is my story of the amazing book and television series Pretty Little Liars! The action of the book takes place when the Pilot does (after the flashback). The same rough background is kept. (Their best friend Alison disappeared last year and they are estranged.) But anything else can be changed! You never know..... it IS Rosewood! Anything can happen! By the way, I will use some lines from the show. All rights go to ABC Family and the writers/producers of Pretty Little Liars. I do not own any of the characters or the story. The first few chapters are covering the events of the pilot so please bear with me!

Pretty Little Liars Fan Fiction, set a year before Alison's disappearance. Alison DiLaurentis, the golden girl of Rosewood High. Every girl wants to be her and every guy wants to be with her. Aria and Alison are friends, but Aria is struggling with living in Alison's shadow constantly. Aria wants to be seen as an individual, but "Alison's friend" is all anyone sees. Aria becomes drawn to Alison's mysterious brother Jason and he seems to be drawn to her too...Could Jason be the one to finally see Aria in a different light?

When the police gets a hint that Mr. Fitz has a thing going on with one of his students, they send Officer Garrett to his apartment to talk to him. Ezra denies everything, but he can't fool Garrett. In the end, Ezra gives in, but what he didn't expect is Garrett offering him a deal. A few weeks ago, Garrett had been involved in an incident that could cost him his job, and Ezra knows about it. If Ezra doesn't tell anyone, he'll keep his mouth shut about the Aria thing. Ezra agrees, but he also knows now he and Aria have to be even more careful than before. Which isn't exactly an easy task, since "A" does everything to tear the two of them apart...

A/N: This is like a Sashay AU because I don't use the lives of the people themselves. I've completely changed everyone in their lives (Sasha's boyfriend's name isn't Hudson, I changed the names of their relatives. Sasha is older (20-21) and Shay is younger (23-24)). I wanted to explore the relationship of two people who work together and are a pairing in a show.
