{We hear the sharp ring of a front door bell. Birling stops to listen.} "Somebody at the front door." Gerald is a respectable, well-bred man about town, or at least that's what he appears to be. Behind the scenes he is hidden and different, and his parents don't want someone like him ruining their reputation. So he leaves. When he finds himself at the Birling's household, he is welcomed in, even despite his actions towards Sheila, and he makes himself at home. However he doesn't expect to be sharing a room with Eric, the one boy he'd been crushing on all along. Even less, he doesnt expect those feelings to be requited. And when they are- can he resist the desire to leave everything behind for the love that they share?

On the eighteenth of March, I watched a stage show of: 'An Inspector Calls' at home on YouTube due to the coronavirus. It was performed by Cast Theatrical Company, written by J.B. Priestley in 1945 and directed by Krissy Clark McKee... ...The setting of the production was The Birling household in Brumley, a fake city near Birmingham.

Shay Priestley is the resident awkward girl in the neighborhood of Glenwood-- or at least that's what she thinks. She is convinced that she is the most awkwardest human being to ever walk the face of the earth and all she wants is a memorable summer. but when her sister gets her a job babysitting their neighbor's adorable-yet devilish-four year old daughter, Poppy Reynolds, Shay was sure her summer was going to suck. She had never really been good with kids, considering the fact that she didn't have any younger siblings of her own. And to top it all off, the Reynolds bring home their unbelievably hot, 17 year old nephew, Zed. Nothing agitates Shay more than Zed. They constantly bicker and fight and it seems as if they hate each other. Shay realizes Zed's crappy attitude the moment she meets him. But when she finally finds out the truth behind Zed's past, Shay begins to understand why Zed is being the way he is. And maybe, just maybe... Zed may have a reason for being such a dick, after all.
