After a terrifying first reaping Primrose Everdeen finds herself in the middle of the arena and the 74th Hunger Games are about to begin.

What would happen if the girl who couldn't even kill animals must go and kill other kids in an arena? Twelve year old Prim Everdeen is reaped to be in the Seventy Forth Hunger Games along with Peeta Mellark. She has many near death experiences while in the arena, but with the help of two allies, gets out of the situations,but what if they can't be there with her to the end, or what if she can't be there with them? Because at the end only one of them will be able to go home, and the others will be dead.

At the end of the Quarter Quell, Katniss was taken hostage by the capital and Peeta was rescued by the rebels.

"It seems as if my throat has been tangled in a knot. I cannot speak. I cannot move. My whole body is in shock after what I just heard. It's me, I'm the child. I am the female child that will most likely die. I look over to Katniss, my sister, in hopes of her saying something. Or a look of reassurance. But I find she is just as shocked as me and not able to move a muscle." What if Katniss didn't volunteer for her sister?
