Billions of years ago, the worlds ice melted because of climate change and the ocean expanded forcing humanity to adapt to live in water. I had to write a 750 word opening to an original dystopian story for my English class so I decided to post it here to see what you guys think. I got an A+ on it btw.

This is the story of Alex Bourne a young former navy seal who finds himself in a primitive world trying to survive. He make friends and enemies as he makes his way through this world and learns some things about himself he never knew.

After living her life to the fullest in her original world, Y/N returned to her work as a missionary while bringing her ghostly husband along with her and her daughter being her system for the missions in those worlds. Unfortunately, because his soul wasn't used to this kind of soul transport, he'd lose his memories everytime. Luckily, after being finished with those worlds, Jack's memories would return once back in the system space. Another thing, her husband is so unlucky that his roles in those worlds are either the main villain or a cannon fodder. It's a good thing that no matter what world their in, their wedding ring always remain with them since it's bind to their soul. Jack/Joseph:Where am I? Who am I? What am I doing? 30000 years ago in the west of Europe. A girl at the threshold between teenage years and adulthood. Her Clan, as it does every end of autumn, has settled in the loop of a river, at the foothills of the Pyrenees. The Clan is to spend winter nearby a decorated cavern in the mountain, that is their sanctuary. The young woman is a marginal. She lost her father too early, she doesn't know exactly how. She is still living in her mother's hut, at the edge of the camp. Her only friend, an orphan adopted by the Clan, is entirely devoted to her. He is in the process of becoming one of the best among the young hunters, but he doesn't get the recognition he deserves because is an orphan. The young marginal girl doesn't accept this. It leads her to confront He-who-sees, the Clan's leader. This confrontation will put the story in motion. The story will unfold over the four seasons. So, the story happens during the Superior Paleolithic era. The north of Europe is covered with a thick layer of ice. Homo Sapiens are nomadic, hunter-gatherers, and follow herds of reindeer in their migration. The Neanderthals are still in existence, and carry on with their ancestral ways of life, hunting the large animals. Sapiens or Neanderthals, their are very few humans. Nature is immense. The wide plain and its sub-arctic climat supports many animal species. Humans can survive with this plentiful game, as long as they are prudent and organized, because between the condition of predator, and the condition of prey, the distance is short. Nowadays, earth is exhausted. Humans are all powerful. With this story, I hope to revive a time when human's vulnerability made them wise, and nature was at the best of its health.

Blade has lived her whole life on The Terrarium, a massive transparent spaceship originally containing earth biota orbited by a swarm of UV lights that has lost contact with earth for thousands of years, and has been in deep space long enough that no organisms originally on the craft are recognizable. Much of the infrastructure on the craft has broken down, returning humans in The Terrarium to a primitive hunter/gatherer society. One day when an alien ship makes it's way through a gap in The Terrarium's shields, Blade's world changes forever.
