This story is set post-Mockingjay, following Panem's rebellion. It chronicles Gale Hawthorne's struggles with the blame placed upon him for the death of Primrose Everdeen. This one-shot was written with the intent of opening people's eyes. It is this author's personal opinion that Gale was cast off unfairly and in a way he did not deserve. Alex has never liked the games nor has she ever liked the capital. When it is time for the reaping will the games tear her family apart or will it leave her family just the way it is.
