What if... .....it had been Suam... .....of My Secret Bride..... ......in place of Muey...?

A few of the Short Stories I kept from my old DragonUniverse account. I decided not to keep most of them.

Swivelling his chair to face the panoramic view of the city of Bangkok, his thoughts returned to that period, a year and a half before that inadvertently changed the course of his life, bringing him to where he was today, an upcoming corporate figure to be reckoned with, in the business world. Rising from his seat he reached for the cream colored envelope that had his name printed on its face. Withdrawing its contents, the simple white card bearing a single pink lotus in full bloom as its motif, he gave it a quick look, relegating it to his table as he made for the door leading out of his office.

She realised the fragility of her position. There was so much at stake should things not work out in her favor. That prospect was in itself frightening. Oh dear Heaven !

He thought about her sweet and innocent beauty. She was going to need every ounce of her reserves of resilience if she was ever going to survive all of this intact. He didn't quite care about himself. As far as he was concerned there would be nothing left of him once all of this was over. His only hope now lay ironically on a man who was invariably his competitor for her affections. Right now that was secondary to what he intended to do.

Overwhelming guilt and something close to trepidation precipitating, over her unwarranted reaction to his marked absence, spotting her invitees approaching her table, she contained herself, damming her runaway thoughts and skittering emotions, pasting on a broad smile even as she felt her heart plummet into an abyss as she graciously invited her guests to their seats.

Looking at her now, glowing , radiant, it was hard to picture the individual she had become the weeks following her ordeal. Gaunt, listless, she had been in a zombie like state, the result of having endured a traumatic experience of betrayal, loss and near fatality. The quiet period of convalesence had seen her blossoming once again. "Shall we...?"

Um certo vilarejo possui uma certa princesa, aos olhos deles uma princesa incomum, principalmente pelo fato de amar livros de fantasia, ou por não gostar de vestidos de gala. Ela sente que algo lhe falta, principalmente depois de ter sonhos com um certo alguém. A princesa com seus cabelos longos e pretos, cujo possui o nome "Pure" sai em uma aventura em busca da pessoa de seus sonhos, e várias coisas vão acontecendo durante sua jornada. (e não, essa não é uma história que acaba com um: o principe e a princesa viveram felizes para sempre)

He had now reached a point where he had begun to feel that putting his life at risk was no longer worth it. He had come to a decision that it was time to close this chapter of his life and embark upon a new one, that would give surcease to his restless and lonely heart

He focused his attention on the group, directing them a sharp gaze, an unconscious habit, to root out any form of duplicity. The sudden stirrings at his heart surprised him. He had considered himself immune, this another day's work.

"Alright..Officer,...you better have a good explanation for this game that you have been playing at at my client's expense...!" "Khun...." " .....I'm not....in any position.... to discuss this matter with you..." "Ho...!" "...you've got the gall to tell me that, when you have been identified as the gamemaster...!" "...If you would kindly take a seat...my superior will be here shortly to clarify matters.." " Why...?" "..Is he a player too...?" "..Tell me, Officer...." "....what's the stakes...huh..?" " What my client is willing to offer for her freedom, is it...?"

This life written story is about you (diana) living in a big castle with no one but your cat, misty.

It was to be an unofficial visit. He could have come in officially but felt a casual approach would more likely bear favorable results. He had used this particular method successfully in a few of his cases.

Noting his nemesis's wariness, he uttered, "Look..," "..... I'm a cop, yes...but I owe loyalties to no one..." ".....That crap is not my thing...." "...and I don't give a damn about what's your deal with the 'Dancing Queen" either..." " ....I'm here to even the score..... " " with 'Her Worship' ....."

He watched her, his eyes taking in her lovely form, regal as always, delight observing her cheerful countenance, mingling with the pain of what was not meant to be, wishing almost painfully for things to be different between them, anger chasing in its wake, making him want to take a fist at the creep who had unjustly hurt her.
