He watched her, his eyes taking in her lovely form, regal as always, delight observing her cheerful countenance, mingling with the pain of what was not meant to be, wishing almost painfully for things to be different between them, anger chasing in its wake, making him want to take a fist at the creep who had unjustly hurt her.

He thought about her sweet and innocent beauty. She was going to need every ounce of her reserves of resilience if she was ever going to survive all of this intact. He didn't quite care about himself. As far as he was concerned there would be nothing left of him once all of this was over. His only hope now lay ironically on a man who was invariably his competitor for her affections. Right now that was secondary to what he intended to do.

She sat stoically even as she felt sickened at the prospect awaiting her. To think this was what her life had finally come to, but she had to do this, if she ever wanted to know the truth. With that resolve strongly etched within her, she got herself ready to take on the gauntlet thrown her way.

Overwhelming guilt and something close to trepidation precipitating, over her unwarranted reaction to his marked absence, spotting her invitees approaching her table, she contained herself, damming her runaway thoughts and skittering emotions, pasting on a broad smile even as she felt her heart plummet into an abyss as she graciously invited her guests to their seats.

Following his friend's inference, his thoughts returned to the two night's before when had compiled his information. As he was consolidating his findings his mind had drifted to the brief vision he had. He had mulled over it, finally relegating it to his senses having been awakened after lying dormant for quite awhile where the female species was concerned.

His mind weighed the gravity of the situation, at her eroding chances of ever getting back the life she once knew and had. She would be present at the function. Just the mere thought of her and what he had discovered had his heart squeezing in near trepidation, the sickening sense of foreboding looming in his consciousness.

Um certo vilarejo possui uma certa princesa, aos olhos deles uma princesa incomum, principalmente pelo fato de amar livros de fantasia, ou por não gostar de vestidos de gala. Ela sente que algo lhe falta, principalmente depois de ter sonhos com um certo alguém. A princesa com seus cabelos longos e pretos, cujo possui o nome "Pure" sai em uma aventura em busca da pessoa de seus sonhos, e várias coisas vão acontecendo durante sua jornada. As her sweet voice flowed around him in melody, he couldn't help his thoughts invariably returning to their promise of an eternal future together that had sadly ended prematurely on a bitter note , wondering painfully if there would be a chance for them, but dismissing it as mere wishful thinking, resuming his focus instead on the purpose of him being in the midst of the function as an uninvited guest.
