For centuries, Pharaoh has enslaved the Hebrews in Egypt. Broken, bruised, and worked to the literal bone, Miriam's people looked to God for a comfort they were not receiving. As far as everyone knew, they had been abandoned. All seemed lost until Prince Moses slayed an Egyptian--and fled the country. 40 years later, conditions have only gotten worse. But Prince Moses makes a glorious return, commanding Pharoah to release the Hebrews. Facing Pharoah's wrath and God's power, Miriam and her family must follow Moses into the wilderness with a promise of a better life, even though to leave shelter--however brutal--is to pledge yourself to certain death. What will come of the wilderness? The Promised Land or a fate worse than continuing to live under Pharaoh's rule? This story will only have the first two chapters uploaded to gauge interest.
