Fuji complained that Ryoma don't love him because Ryoma never said those three words, so Fuji came up with the plan to make Ryoma jealous, which will result in those three words out of Ryoma's mouth. "Wow, what's this!? You're ​about to lose you know, Arai-senpai." said a short boy from outside the courts causing everyone to suddenly pause and look his way. As they turned, they saw a light brown haired boy with purple eyes and arms on the back of his head making him look cocky. "Yo, shut up Mahiru!" yelled Arai as he was the one getting ready to serve. "Hmm, yeah, yeah, sure. Well, see you later, when you lose." Mahiru called out as he turned around and started to leave. "Tsk, I'll show you." Arai said under his breath, getting in position to throw the ball up and serve.
