I didn't know exactly what I was. Had some ideas, granted but I was never sure. I knew I was born like this , that my father and mother shared the same condition. But with my mother dead and my father no where to be found, the only thing I had was the serpent like tail on my lower back and the bat like wings that wedged themselves between my shoulder blades, coupled with instincts that I could not hope to understand.- Reads 129
