An AU where Virgil made a deal with a Reaper to save a his best friend. As part of the deal he needs to collect an amount of souls for a period of time in order for the reaper to save them. In comes Roman, a wandering creature of the Light, confused as to why he always sees this 'Shadow' around people that look sad. When Virgil falls ill to the 'sleep sickness', Roman discovers his secret and decides that it's his duty to follow his mysterious 'Shadow'. Now Virgil has to collect the souls while simultaneously keeping Roman a secret from the Reaper he made the deal with. Characters: Virgil, Logan, Roman, Patton, Thomas, Remy (Sleep Character), Joan, Talyn, Jamahl, Dominic and Valerie. Parings: All platonic, though you can think them romantic if you like. [Part One of the Force of Nature series] Thomas and his sides all have Kik. It gets angsty, Anxiety gets upset, Thomas doesn't know what is going on, Logic still is clueless about emotions, Dad just wants everyone to be happy, and Prince wants to finally get his Prince(ss) and save them. What Prince did not expect was that Anxiety would need the saving. (Once again. But that is a story for another time)

The roaring 20′s were a time of parties, crimes, jazz, and booze. Only one of these things interested Roman and that was crime, but when he meets Logan everything gets a bit out of control.

By no logical reason would Logan (logic) and Patton (Morality) ever be considered friends let alone anything more than that. In high school people stick to their own groups: nerds or geeks, jocks, musicians, artists, skateboarders, you name it! Nobody ever breaks form their group and mingles with another. Logan is one said geek, although, he never really talks to others much and would much prefer to be reading or conducting one of his many experiments. Patton is one of, if not the, nicest kid in school. He's the one always sitting at the long table at lunch happily asking you to donate your extra change to whatever charity was decided for that day. He only had a few close friends, but people tend to flock to him because of his cheerful personality. What happens when these two completely opposite people start to spend some time together? Logan lied to his counterparts- he did have feelings; One of which was hatred. He mostly hated little things- like being wrong and contractions- but there was nothing he hated more that himself

Because of an "Incident" Anxiety falls ill, Thomas won't speak, Logic is mad, Morality is just trying to be a good dad (they tell the best jokes) and Prince is trying to figure out what in the world is going on. Or Thomas finds out that the inner workings of his mind are far bigger and more complex than he could ever imagine.
