A Unicorn named Twilight Sparkle is sent to Ponyville by her mentor Princess Celestia for preparation of the Summer Sun Celebration. During their time they met 5 ponies named Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack and Pinkie Pie. But they also must protect Equestria and the Mystic Realm from the dark mystic ponies led by the evil Dark Curse. To assist them is a Mystic Earth Pony named Shadow Dragon and his team called the Dragon Strike Force. Together they go on cool adventures together, learn lesson about friendship and defend Equestria and the Mystic Realm from the evil dark mystic ponies.

When the Storm King & Dark Curse attack Equestria, the Mane 6, Dragon Strike Force and their friends and family have to travel beyond Equestria to save their home. They make some new friends on the way. But unknown to them, that someone was secretly spying on them.

The Mane 6 and Dragon Strike Force must now overcome more obstacles than just friendship lessons now that Princess Twilight has been crowned. Things will be challenging from here as the Mane 6 and Dragon Strike Force must find out about the dark secret of the Everfree Forest, discover their true potential as the Elements of Harmony, and try to protect Equestria from the evil Lord Tirek.
