In this AU of the Miraculous Ladybug series, Marinette is akumatized after all of her classmates believe Lila's lies. Now Princess Justice, will Marinette choose to obey Hawk Moth's commands or follow her own destiny? This is my head canon of what an episode where Marinette gets akumatized would look like. A short story of a school dance gone wrong and how Marinette ends up akumatized from it; sort of based on an idea I had while listening to 'Queen of Mean' by Sarah Jeffery from Descendants 3 (highly recommend listening to it). Hope you enjoy!

Marinette is struggling to move past what happened, she was akumitized, SHE was akumitized. To get Monarch off her back she has asked Alya to step in as ladybug for a few weeks, under the excuse that ladybug is ill. But this has left her defenseless, and at her most vulnerable time, monarch takes advantage of the information he has witnessed and uses it.

Adrien is forced to leave France by his father's orders. He's not told why, he just knows he needs to leave NOW. He's sent to live with his aunt Amelie and cousin Felix in London until he graduates high school. He stays another two years for university but misses home.
