This is the second of three stories in which I am rewriting the Star Wars sequel trilogy! I hope you all enjoy!

Ah yes, the finale of my sequel trilogy rewrites, this time with a retitling of "Duel of the Fates" which was also the original title for Collin Trevorrow's Episode IX. That script is SO MUCH better than Rise of Skywalker, however, it is also restrained by the atrocity that is the original Caption episode VIII, meaning there are still some significant issues with his episode IX even though I think it's a massive improvement. So, this will be an almost entirely original ninth film outside of some inspiration from Rise of Skywalker as well as Duel of the Fates. This will be the biggest departure of any of the films yet. In my Force Awakens rewrite I took a lot of beats from the original film, with Last Jedi I strayed a lot more but still kept some similarities, but with this one, there will be little to know resemblance of the original film. So, without further ado, here is "Duel of the Fates"

Katiara Mott is an eighteen year old girl from Tatooine. Her father has a friend with a son just a couple weeks older than her, his name is Luke Skywalker. Luke and Katiara have been growing up with each other forever. They've been best friends through it all on the lonely planet of Tatooine. Life has just been a grand, simple time... until a man shows up who claims to have trained the legendary Darth Vader. Luke and Katiara never have believed in the Force, nor have they ever been informed by it. A few days after the suspicious man arrived at Tatooine, the two best friends were on their way to controlling the whole galaxy. There is some issues on their way to controlling the galaxy... including a choice that will change Katiara's life forever. It all goes down to Luke and Katiara.

I thought of this story when i was looking at some fan art of someone fixing darth vader's helmet. That reminded me that darth vader's helmet looks kind of like a sad puppy so here is a story about it ~i do not own Star Wars or any Star Wars characters~
